We are delighted to announce the commencement of a new partnership with Sulabh International Social Service Organisation (SISSO) . To celebrate this exciting collaboration, we hosted a partnership event at the AEGIS Centre, University of Portsmouth, bringing together representatives from AEGIS and Sulabh. The event featured presentations on current research at University of Portsmouth around plastic waste management and low-cost/environmentally-friendly alternatives to traditional building materials, efforts that align with both organisations’ shared commitment to sustainability.

During the event, our Co-Director Tamsin Bradley expressed enthusiasm for the partnership and emphasised the need for collaborative projects with Sulabh to advance sustainability, equality, and social inclusion in underserved communities in India. For AEGIS, this partnership represents a positive step in efforts to end gender inequality, address social injustices and promote inclusiveness and diversity worldwide
