My academic expertise is related to gender and specifically looking at British Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi women. I also have expertise within the field of a child's voice and bereavement. My professional background is within the field of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and SEBD in particular. I have worked as a teacher, a SENCO, and as an Independent Inclusion Consultant prior to joining the University of Portsmouth.
